Overview

The Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board is a legal organization formed to enforce environmental laws and regulations within the administration of the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. The board was first formed on 31 February 1975 under the Water Prevention and Control Act, but was later renamed the UP Pollution Control Board. The UPPCB manages, controls and implements other functions while being correlated with the environment. These acts include:
